These experts will help drive decisions with applications that stand out in the 15 event categories.
The XR Awards 2024 has assembled a panel of judges from various AR/VR/MR industry sectors. These judges will select the finalists and winners of the XR Awards 2024 in categories like Best Virtual Reality Solution, Best Enterprise/Industrial Metaverse Solution, and Best Training Solution.
During the XR Awards event, XR Today showcases the latest AR/VR/MR solutions, products, and companies. If you’re an international business, entering the competition as soon as possible is recommended to have your application reviewed by our esteemed judges.

XR Awards 2024: Meet the Judges
Amy Peck
Amy Peck is the Founder and CEO of EndeavorXR, a globally recognized consulting firm specializing in VR/AR/MR strategy. Peck is a prominent speaker on immersive technologies and the future of XR. She has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies, tech startups, and digital media/production companies, assisting them in developing XR strategy, content, product, and GTM.
Amy LaMeyer
Amy LaMeyer is the Managing Partner of the WXR Fund, investing in startups that are changing how businesses and humans interact through spatial computing and artificial intelligence. The entire WXR portfolio is made up of female founders and inclusive teams. LaMeyer has participated in several podcasts discussing the potential of spatial computing and virtual music experiences. She also frequently speaks about the latest trends in immersive music.
Sophia Moshasha
Sophia Moshasha, the Vice President of the VRARA’s DC Chapter, is a renowned figure in the field of immersive technology and has made numerous appearances on networks such as Forbes, ABC, and CGTN. Through her leadership at the VR/AR Association, she has advocated for advancing immersive solutions that can significantly impact business and everyday life.
Josh Gregg
Josh Gregg, an Innovation Technologies Specialist at the University of Leeds, is joining the XR Awards judge’s panel this year, bringing experience supporting diverse communities of students, staff, and local communities with innovative XR solutions. Gregg also works with the platform HELIX to enhance student education experiences.
Jay Latta
Jay Latta, the Founder of The Fusionists, has over 35 years of experience in the industry and on stage, focusing on humanitarian purposes, scientific research, and advanced ideas that benefit humankind through his ThinkTank STINT.
Nathan Pettyjohn
Nathan Pettyjohn, The Immerse Group’s CEO and the VRARA’s President, joins this year’s judge lineup. With his role as a leader at two of the world’s most significant enterprise-focused XR communities, Pettyjohn holds unique hands-on knowledge thanks to his experience hosting major industry events.
Amelia Kallman
Amelia Kallman is a well-known Futurist, Speaker, and Author, recognized as one of the “Top 25 Women in the Metaverse”. Kallman is passionate about exploring the opportunities and challenges of emerging technologies such as XR, AI, data, and Web3 – her impressive list of clients includes Unilever, Red Bull, Together Labs, Lloyd’s of London, and the UK Parliament.
Tom Ffiske
Tom Ffiske is a writer specializing in immersive technologies like VR, AR, MR, and the metaverse. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of Immersive Wire, a website and newsletter that provides the latest updates on industry trends, investments, and innovations in consumer and enterprise markets. Tom’s work in this field dates back to 2016, and he has been a reliable source of information for those interested in the industry.
Yanna Zhu
Yanna Zhu is a specialist in Metaverse and XR, currently works at BCG, and previously worked on PWC’s Metaverse Technologies team. Her role involves helping clients from various sectors worldwide to discover, create, and implement immersive solutions. Zhu has extensive experience in conducting sessions to assist clients in adopting XR technology, including solutions based on smartphones and high-end headsets.
Samatha Kingston
Samatha Kingston, the CEO of Virtual Umbrella, joins the XR Awards 2024. The leader’s experience as a VR content director allows her to support commercial and creative projects for primary clients via her firm, Virtual Umbrella.
Kevin O’Donovan
Kevin O’Donovan, Co-Chair of the VRARA’s Industrial Metaverse and Digital Twin Committee, is using his background as an expert in immersive transformation and workplace tools to provide insight into this year’s industrial and workplace-focused tools.
Cameron Stevens
Cameron Stevens, the CEO and Lead Consultant of the Pocketknife Group, comes to the judging panel with a focused insight into how businesses solve today’s issues with emerging technology solutions – helping many leverage new tools to enhance workplace efficiency.
