STYLY is a cross reality (XR) creative platform and innovative solution that provides community-focused applications to build a developer ecosystem across various online spaces.
This week, the platform released a beta version of ‘STYLY Sessions’ which allows multiple users to share immersive experiences at the same time.
STYLY sessions can host up to 15 guests and supports cross-platform delivery between users, including smartphones, webXR browsers, virtual reality (VR) headsets, and augmented reality (AR) smartglasses.
Hosts on the platform are required to use an Oculus Quest 2 or a compatible headset to guide guests across more than 16,000 XR scenes in STYLY’s online gallery, where participants can enjoy numerous environments from digital exhibitions to collaborative events.
XR Today attended the Dig Into Newview 2021 tour that featured several XR scenes, which hosted attendees across interests such as fashion line showrooms to interactive gaming experiences.
STYLY by Psychic VR Lab
Founded in Tokyo, Japan, Psychic VR Lab is the studio behind STYLY and highlights how people can use XR as a mainstream product and service.
STYLY debuted on the Viveport storefront earlier this month, but users can alternatively access the platform on a web browser or headset such as the Oculus Quest 2 or Valve Index.
The Japanese firm is also the key group behind the upcoming NEWVIEW awards, which offers participants a platform to boost visibility and gain monetary prizes.
Kevin Joyce, Local Coordinator for STYLY and NEWVIEW, recently chatted with XR Today to discuss the opportunities that STYLY and Newview present for XR creatives.
