Metaverse service The Sandbox Game entered a strategic partnership with Webhelp on Friday, a global vendor of customer experience (CX) and business-to-business (B2B) solutions.

The partnership enables The Sandbox to improve upon existing community engagement goals, both with virtual reality (VR) Metaverse services and others.

The Sandbox, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, and Webhelp provide the user base with in-world support features designed to onboard new users and facilitate proper safeguard measures.

New Features for Sandbox Users

The Webhelp partnership is expanding its support ambassadors to around 150 active virtual staff in the coming months and during its Alpha Season, The Sandbox will also add further Webhelp support specialists.

The Sandbox players, creators, and partners gain access to features such as moderation tools for in-game chat, updated player support, and social media activities.

According to Olivier Duha, the CEO and Co-Founder of Webhelp, his firm and The Sandbox service shares the same goal of putting the community at the core of business operations.

He said in a statement,

“We will be using our extensive experience and expertise in content and community moderation to help The Sandboxgrow and remain a safe and engaging platform for players, creators, and commercial partners”

The Sandbox Game is growing at an unprecedented rate, meaning that the platform must support its online community with a sufficient number of Webhelp ambassadors.

The team takes precautions to ensure that The Sandbox Metaverse is a safe space for users when sharing immersive content experiences such as live events, gaming, and user-generated content (UGC).

Sebastien Borget, the COO and Co-Founder of The Sandbox Game, added,

“We are looking forward to working with Webhelp to scale up our dedicated support team, which is rapidly developing its skillset and becoming an extension of our team, as part of a long-lasting partnership”

The news come after The Sandbox Game partnered with Ledger in April to secure the platform with crypto wallet security that enhances customer protection while using $SAND, The Sandbox’s Ethereum-based cryptocurrency, and its custom Ledger Nano.

BUD, a UGC Metaverse, also recently secured $38.6 million to improve its tools, expand its global user base, introduce in-Metaverse products, and debut an integrated NFT marketplace.
