This week, two XR technology solution providers, Animmersion UK and SystemActive, partnered to boost each firm’s customer growth. Middlesbrough-based Animmersion UK is experienced in scaling virtual reality software to a wide client list. The collaboration streamlines enterprise-grade XR deployments by working with VR headset provider SystemActive.
Animmersion UK has already integrated roughly 200 of SystemActive’s VR headset units into clients. The most recent agreement introduces a turnkey solution for businesses, providing a client with a collection of devices with pre-loaded demonstration software.
The preloaded software aims to communicate the full capabilities of enterprise-grade VR technology. Leading into 2025, solutions like workplace simulations and 3D digital twins are increasing in usage, meaning that proper introduction to XR and its abilities are also increasingly important.
Andrew Liddell, Chief Data Officer of Animmersion UK, said, “Our partnership with SystemActive marks a significant milestone in delivering high-quality, immersive VR experiences.”
Liddell also added:
By combining our expertise in software development with SystemActive’s top-tier headsets, we can provide a seamless, comprehensive service that simplifies the whole VR adoption process and ensures clients of both companies have easy access to the best technology available. Our demonstration software effectively showcases the VR headset’s capabilities, increasing the likelihood of clients commissioning custom software and purchasing additional units.
Unified XR Procedures
The move unifies hardware and software acquisition for businesses, making the process far smoother for clients and negating the need to procure headsets and software separately.
Moreover, Animmersion UK includes remote management tools for the SystemActive headsets, which allow IT teams to roll out updates and ensure smooth user onboarding.
Toriâh Wilson, Head of XR Technology at SystemActive, noted
This partnership enhances customer experience and satisfaction as well as increasing sales potential across multiple sectors. Simplifying the acquisition and setup process reduces barriers to entry, making it more likely that potential customers will proceed with a purchase.
“We are thrilled to partner with Animmersion UK to promote and deliver high-quality VR experiences while both companies can leverage each other’s strengths, leading to mutual growth and shared success in this dynamic market,” Wilson stated.
According to Animmersion UK, the firm is leveraging its software portfolio to ensure the efficient rollout of VR headsets to companies in various sectors, including education, training, sales, and leisure.
