The 5G/6G Team have consistently over the last two years, implemented XR applications—bespoke on each occasion—to further educate high level stakeholders, regulatory bodies and industry (along with Spanish royalty!) in the ease of use of XR applications for learning about high level concepts.  The applications developed are easy to use, require little instruction and no movement issues for participants to feel comfortable and to overcome the stigmas associated with early XR equipment use.

The 5G/6G Team has made it their goal to use XR applications to teach, inspire and demonstrated satellite integration and how XR content and use cases can benefit society and the world.

The 5G/6G Programme Office has use XR as a showcase to their 5G/6G Hub in Harwell, UK and Telecom 5G/6G Lab in Noordwijk, Netherlands.

The 5G/6G Programme Office interacts with 5GAA, 3GPP and other regulatory bodies encouraging the use of XR devices and software in industry.  The success of these applications above are indicative of the movement towards adoption of XR application and the growing need for innovation within the industry and others that look to adopt XR software and hardware.
