Sam Altman. Checkmate on investors and big companies and grown up faster transforming the landscape of AI.

What’s the biggest business mistake you’ve made and what did you learn from it?

A major mistake was accepting investment from business angels who did not align with our growth strategy. I learned the importance of selecting investors who not only provide capital but also bring valuable expertise and strategic support to help drive the business forward.

What’s the most inspirational book you’ve ever read and why?

“Steve Jobs” by Walter Isaacson. The book is inspiring because it offers deep insights into innovation, leadership, and the relentless pursuit of excellence, all of which are critical qualities in the rapidly evolving XR industry.

What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role in 2024?

The biggest challenge is staying ahead in a rapidly evolving XR landscape, which requires constant innovation and adaptation to new technologies and market demands.

What technology will have the greatest impact on your business this year and why?

Generative AI will have the greatest impact this year and Spatial Computing. It enables us to create more immersive and interactive experiences in XR, enhancing user engagement and expanding the possibilities for virtual environments and applications.
