What was your business highlight of 2024?

My biggest business highlight in 2024 was developing Ace It XR, my mixed reality job interview training app with AI avatars to help non-native speakers improve their interview skills and reduce anxiety. This project aligns with my doctoral research and my focus on AI and multimodal interaction in education.

What XR-leaning event are you most looking forward to in 2025?

Definitely, AWE 2025 and Immersive Learning Research Network 2025 conference.

What was your dream job when you were growing up?

I have a deep appreciation for classical music and ballet, and as a child, I dreamed of playing the piano or being part of an orchestra.

What was your favourite film/TV show of 2024?

I’m a big fan of thrillers so NCIS is my fave.

What’s the biggest challenge you face in 2025?

My biggest challenge in 2025 is securing funding and resources for my projects, particularly finding grants to support my mixed reality app.

If you had to learn one new skill, what would it be?

If I had to learn one new skill, it would be deep meditation and breathwork techniques to enhance my ability to relax, manage stress, and stay focused. Developing a stronger mind-body connection would help me maintain balance amidst my busy schedule and improve my overall well-being.

What are your personal XR-related 2025 ambitions/goals?

Complete my dissertation on Multimodal AI in Mixed Reality, having achieved significant results that I’m excited to share.
