Theorem Solutions has released the latest version of Theorem-XR, an automated data solution allowing firms to use 3D computer aided designs (CAD) across extended reality (XR) devices.
The latest updates to the platform include support for Microsoft Azure Remote Rendering, allowing the solution to stream high-volume, high-quality data to Microsoft HoloLens 2 headsets.
The solution comes as firms tackle issues with porting and optimising 3D engineering designs for XR devices, leading to the development of solutions such as Theorem’s Visualization Pipeline (Theorem-VP), which aims to remove blockages to the rapid adoption of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality (VR/AR/MR) devices.
Users on the platform can drag and drop data to servers, save files, export directly from product lifecycle management programmes, and run directly in batch mode to work with design assets across XR devices, removing the need to prepare data multiple times.
Theorem-XR also supports top providers of CAD software as well as lightweight input and output formats for reviewing content, factory layouts, digital twins, and creating assets on the Unity or Unreal Engine platform for companies developing their own XR solutions.
New Product Release 🚨
V24.2 of our #CATIAV5 to #JT solution supports the latest versions of CATIA V5 and JT, and also includes the creation of #Daimler compliant JT data containing Smart Topology Table (STT).

The British firm’s product also provides input and output support for photorealistic rendering across programmes such as Maya, VRED, and Alias, and backs lightweight viewing technologies such as glTF, Creo View.pvz, FBX, and JT for Unity-powered content.
It also retains metadata and product structuring to process geometry for animation data, allowing designers eliminate manual input and maximise performance to save time and costs.
Theorem Solutions, based in Tamworth, United Kingdom and Troy, Michigan, United States, has enabled users of software from firms such as Microsoft, Siemens, Autodesk, Dassault Systèmes, PTC, and many others to work on XR projects using Theorem’s products.
Theorem Solutions is also a member of Microsoft’s Mixed Reality Partner Programme (MRPP) and works with the world’s top CAD firms with its products built with over 30 years of industry experience.
The news comes just days after rival XR firm Taqtile announced its Manifest platform would join Nokia’s MX Industrial Edge app ecosystem to expand its customer base and provide advanced holographic visuals for frontline and industrial workers to boost safety, performance, and efficacy.
