SynergyXR is a cloud platform that puts potent extended reality (XR) management tools in the hands of companies to greatly improve training, maintenance, and customer outreach procedures.

The cloud-powered XR software hub enables global firms to distribute augmented, virtual, and mixed reality (AR/VR/MR) solutions across an enterprise or to customers.

SynergyXR’s simple interface allows firms to create enterprise-grade immersive applications for remote guidance, training, and repair solutions.

By using the cloud, firms can save bespoke XR content for future redistribution to onboarding or training teams.

Currently, SynergyXR has been optimising its platform to perform seamlessly on many AR/VR/MR devices from headset vendors such as HTC VIVE, Meta, and Microsoft.

SynergyXR supports cross-platform usage, allowing teams to manage XR projects across headsets, desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

SynergyXR v1.9 Highlights

This week, SynergyXR updated its intuitive platform with a series of new features that improve usability and streamline XR project management processes.

The latest version 1.9 (v1.9) adds a series of precise input tools to enable individuals to easily interact with their virtual worlds and immersive 3D assets.

Now, users can move, rotate, or scale content more efficiently by using either one or two VR controllers.  On top of this, the SynergyXR development team added axis-based interaction that greatly improves the accuracy of user input and 3D asset manipulation.

SynergyXR v1.9 includes more improvements to user input by adding an immersive user interface (UI) menu to the user’s animated hands. The menu contains various system options that enable an enterprise to customise an experience to best suit its goals.

Also, the company is introducing the ability to draw 3D or 2D diagrams in AR/VR/MR spaces. The incredibly useful feature gives employees the power to highlight areas of a virtual or real-world environment, which comes in handy for remote guidance procedures when assisting onboarding, training, or repair teams.

Previously, SynergyXR only supported drawing on 2D virtual surfaces, but with v1.9, individuals can use the 3D drawing feature to annotate points of interest in an employee’s point of view (PoV), along with additional 2D drawing features for desktop users.

SynergyXR v1.9 is enhancing the platform’s remote guidance capabilities with a quick screen capture feature that allows Microsoft HoloLens 2 to share high-quality screenshots from their PoV, where management teams can annotate PoV screen captures to help on-site workers complete crucial tasks.

Also, the updated version optimises HoloLens 2 support by adapting the device’s UI to match SynergyXR’s umbrella of immersive applications.

Custom SynergyXR Immersive Content

SynergyXR offers firms the tools and resources needed to produce custom-built, enterprise-grade XR content such as VR meetings rooms or 3D models.

Forward-thinking firms can employ SynergyXR resources to develop AR applications that are ready to use for colleagues and customers. For example, brands can use SynergyXR’s versatile AR distribution tools to deliver digital catalogues to customers.

In addition, SynergyXR’s AR development tools can create custom UIs to suit a brand’s house style as well as give firms easy to use management tools, scalable real-world overlay support, app-store assistance, multiple languages, and tutorials.

Also, by incorporating Microsoft’s Azure Storage Explorer, SynergyXR gives users the ability to securely store 3D models and assets.

The Aarhus, Denmark-based firm offers its customers hands-on workshops and training support for essential insights to properly employ XR solutions to benefit a firm’s brand, employees, or customers.

Many global firms have successfully deployed SynergyXR powered AR/VR/MR solutions, including firms such as GKN Aerospace, Grundfos, and Tyra, who have all improved customer and employee experiences using the company’s custom solutions.
