Dutch digital storytelling experts Purple are creating a myriad of unique mixed reality (MR) enterprise solutions.

Based in Halfweg near Amsterdam, the digital innovators aim to capture the imagination of users with products to empower brands by developing their storytelling and engaging with audiences.

The team at Purple split the experience into six solutions: Hyro IX, Hyro Truck IX, Hyropop IX, Hyro CXC, Hyro virtual Studio and the Hyro Stream IX.

Hyro Immersive Experience rooms are permanent and can be set up in any office or retail environment.

The experential rooms immerse visitors in 360 visualisations, and a moderator with a control monitor can direct the action.

From sales pitches to employees and product training, the 360 degree multi-layer projection can fit multiple purposes as well as facilitate creative and strategic decision-making.

The ‘Powered by Purple’ solutions also give business a creative toolkit to impress partners with high-end audio and visuals, and allow presenters to transform any type of media into a spherical projection.

A Flexible Solution

While a permeant fitting can bring an exciting new element to any institution, the setup may seem intrusive. To tackle this, Purple have designed a mobile version of their immersive conference rooms.

The Hyro Truck IX is a mobile interactive and immersive experience complete with features from fixed setups. Firms can hire the truck for brand campaigns to produce exciting bespoke spherical experiences.

Major tech companies such as Samsung have used the Hyro Truck to train sales teams ahead of the launch of the Galaxy Note 10, boosting the firm’s sales strategy and product awareness to customers.

US tech giant Microsoft also turned to Purple’s unique 360 degree storytelling tools at its Customer Experience Center in Schiphol, Amsterdam, which received its own digital transformation.

The Redmond, Washington firm offers digital transformation services with its Dynamics 365 system, but has installed a permeant Hyro fixture at its Dutch site to attract new prospects. Purple’s Hyro technology has the potential to curate future digital transformation services from Microsoft.

The news comes as similar firms have begun developing their own mixed reality solutions, with UK immersive spaces firm Igloo Vision raising £2 million in funds for its enterprise-level products.

The Craven Arms-based company provides immersive VR and 360-degree experiences in shared spaces for its clients, and has worked with major brands such as PwC, Microsoft, FedEx and many others.
