The Realities Centre, a London-based extended reality (XR) centre working with firms, startups, and creative designers, announced on Wednesday its second annual XR Art Fest will take place on November 25.

Psychic VR Labs, the company who created the rising XR content creation platform STYLY, has sponsored the event.

Key partners for the Centre include HP, HTC VIVE, Alibaba Cloud, AMD, the Augmented World Expo (AWE), Tech London Advocates, and many others.

The festival will attract attendees, global virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) artists, and extended reality (XR) fans to join tutorials and immersive art exhibitions.

Event-goers can join workshops to expand their knowledge on developing creative XR content and share artworks across VR devices and mobile AR platforms.

Numerous talks and exhibitions will take place on the XR Art Fest to showcase XR designs on platforms such as STYLY, TiltBrush, OpenBrush, and Unity.

Those joining the event can also view virtual art exhibitions and in-person demonstrations of leading hardware and software solutions.

Dr John Holder, Chief Executive of the Realities Centre, said

“Experiencing creative designs from within brings a whole new paradigm to art. We are delighted to bring back the XR Art Fest after a hugely successful first year and offer new opportunities for audiences to not only experience the latest in XR content creation, but also learn how to easily create digital art for themselves”

The announcment comes after XR Today interviewed Kevin Joyce, Local Coordinator for STYLY and NEWVIEW, on the latest developments from the VR content creation platform.

NEWVIEW, a global community of VR creatives linked to the STYLY platform, hosted its Dig Into NEWVIEW 2021 event in September to tour the platform and explore its Unity WebXR platform.
