Brompton Technology recently revealed it had partnered with PSCo for the PLASA Show at London’s iconic Olympia venue to feature its new extended reality (XR) virtual production solution.

Brompton and PSCo’s live XR entertainment stage will provide attendees of the event with a first-rate immersive experience complete with Absen LEDs, disguise media server, and Brompton’s in-house Tessera LED processors in a bid to attract new ventures and partnerships.

Tom Allot, Asset Manager for PSCo, said his company was looking forward to meeting trade rental partners “from cross the live events industry” at the event.

He added it would announce new vendor partnerships, stating,

“[We will] present them with our expanded range of display solutions, including award-winning LED from Absen and Aluvision, Brompton LED processing, Epson laser projection, Barco image processing and disguise media server solutions, that meet all event needs”

Rob Fowler, Brompton Director of Business Development, explained further about his company’s Tessera version 3.4 software release, adding

“[It includes] Extended Bit Depth and Stacking, along with other industry-leading Tessera features such as Frame Remapping, ShutterSync, Tracking Markers and Per-Batch PureTone. We are delighted that PSCo is bringing these ground-breaking LED features, and other innovative offerings for virtual production, to this year’s PLASA”

Brompton’s Tessera XR Software

Brompton’s Tessera Software allows both beginners and experts to interface with multiple XR LED panel walls, using a video pipeline display with numerous project settings such as fixture group positions and rotation, video inputs, global colours, and other presets.

The interface’s Quick Association functions also allow presets and variable parameters for DMX512 and eDMX control inputs for large LED video systems.

The company also incorporates local access via a monitor, keyboard, and mouse with direct links to Tessera LED processors as well as its Tessera Remote Software.

The PLASA event will take place from 4 to 6 September and will showcase over 200 audiovisual (AV), rental, and entertainment firms from across the industry, as well as 3,000 rental companies and professionals. Companies planning to attend the show include event sponsor ROBE, Epson, disguise, Carnival Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line, Ghost by Agora, Manfrotto, Neumann.Berlin, Sennheiser, and many others.
