Non-fungible token (NFT) and virtual fashion platform ARTISANT has joined with Red DAO for a novel benchmark measurement for a Web3 fashion NFT utility, it announced on Wednesday

The partnership’s decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) hosts a massive catalogue of fashion NFTs along with a series of CloneX avatars from RTFKT.

  • ARTISANT’s Leila Ismailova will speak at the XR Summit on 21 September along with Insomnia Lab’s Billy Huang and Spheroid Universe’s Arsen Aharonyan to discuss the future of digital economy and NFTs.

The efforts have combined two lineups from Red DAO — ARTISANT’s Starsign and Red DAO’s CloneX NFTs — with the former’s first edition releasing seven RTFKT avatars complete with 11 digital fashion NFTs capable of producing 77 combinations for modelling artworks.

Users can model digital outfits in 3D spaces for rotating, scaling, and swapping outfits to produce final profile snapshots and future upgrades for exporting avatars as 3D files.

ARTISANT has remained a strong supporter of virtual, sustainable fashion as it backs fresh solutions and digital assets for the Metaverse.

Founded in 2020, the company began exploring digital fashion to “find the ultimate way to own and use it,” it stated, adding NFT and blockchain technologies allowed users to own and transfer digital assets, and provided methods to showcase and use wearables in the Metaverse.

Regina Turbina, Founder and Chief Executive for ARTISANT explained how her company had “strong Metaverse believers and enthusiasts,” citing the firm’s PUMA fashion drop in Decentraland. It also released additional work with NFT fashion in partnership with PIXELORD and Ready Player Me.

Explaining further, she added,

“The Metaverse is the ultimate environment for self-expression, playful identities, and creativity. It is the evolution of the fashion industry. Many more people will get into this space in the coming years, and we love to help this happen”

According to a Red DAO spokesperson, the organisation’s CloneX avatars and digital wearables helped to build innovative, interactive fashion experiences to showcase “the importance of wearability.

It concluded,

“A novel idea, Artisant’s Dressing Room conveys a deep understanding of the emerging applications and creative possibilities of fashion in the digital realm. They are embracing the spirit of collaboration in web3, merging RTFKT avatars with the works by independent digital fashion designers”

Spatial Hosts Vogue Singapore

The solution comes just ahead of an event ARTISANT will host with extended reality (XR) platform Spatial and Vogue Singapore, where it plans to debut the project.

Spatial and Ready Player Me partnered with Polycount to host the New World immersive event, providing attendees with cross-platform access to the expo.

  • ARTISANT’s Leila Ismailova will speak at the XR Summit on 21 September along with Insomnia Lab’s Billy Huang and Spheroid Universe’s Arsen Aharonyan to discuss the future of digital economy and NFTs.

The exhibition will also feature artist Yimeng Yi’s surrealist artworks, which leverage Ready Player Me’s avatars. Polycount will also offer its protocol tool to facilitate digital experiences for the event.

Vogue’s New World exhibition opened its doors on Monday this week and follows Spatial’s rebranding as a metaverse company in December last year with its Bozo Island NFT platform.

An executive from the metaverse firm stated the company aimed to shift its ambitions to facilitate “enterprise productivity” and support the global NFT economy.
