AMAXG has confirmed it will launch on August 25 “BIZA-Metaversity”, a metaverse eLearning platform powered by blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI), the Korea Herald reported on Wednesday.

The news comes after the South Korean firm entered a strategic alliance with Metaverse developers K2SOFT and digital content distributors ANISTSR to develop software for the platform.

According to the report, K2SOFT will design the metaverse software while ANISTSR provides video content such as animations, films, and other material.

The partners expect to become frontrunners of the metaverse, blockchain, and AI technology, among others, the report added.

Choi Jeoung-moo, AMAXG CEO, told the Herald:

“The three companies all recognize the significance of dominating the metaverse and NFT markets in advance to attract new consumers, especially those belonging to Generation MZ, which refers to people in their 20s and 30s. Virtual assets traded within the metaverse have a high possibility of being connected to assets in real life, so the financial communities are also investing heavily in the sector”

The application has been in beta for the past few months to allow the alliance to test blockchain and AI functions.

Blockchain and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are key to South Korean metaverse ambitions and alongside its educational content, AMAXG looks to use the platform for eCommerce purposes.

Additionally, AMAXG are set to launch UVIT, a digital asset platform, to power the Metaverse’s blockchain system.

The firm has developed its BIZA in-house cryptocurrency to provide users with a means to pay for digital goods and join online courses.

AMAXG’s Chief Executive added NFT and blockchain integration would open up many options for users to trade digital assets with its unique cryptocurrency, stating:

“Digital property traded throughout the metaverse have a excessive chance of being related to property in actual life, so the monetary communities are additionally investing closely within the sector.”

The news comes as numerous firms such as Facebook, Nvidia, Boson Protocol, Nextech, and many others have entered the virtual space race to build the Metaverse, with many using NFTs and blockchain technologies to buy and sell digital assets from artists and promote online market exchanges.

Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook Chief Executive, shockingly announced in an early August interview the social media giant would shift to become a “Metaverse company,” sparking the rush.
