This Friday, AjnaLens, an Indian provider of extended reality (XR) equipment, announced two new immersive products at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023.

At the event, the Indian firm debuted AjnaXR and AjnaVidya, two fresh, immersive products that aim to revitalise the region’s XR marketplace leading into the new year.

In addition to the new products, AjnaLens announced more than 30 hiring partners, bringing new talents to expand its portfolio and use cases.

Abhishek Tomar, the Co-founder & CTO, AjnaLens, added:

Started with the vision to revolutionize the learning and human development, we have come a long way. We aim to transform human lives by building a skill-first world with equal economic opportunities.

CES 2023: What is AjnaLens’ AjnaXR?

The firm designed its AjnaXR headset as a pair of MR goggles that provide an immersive route for individuals to up-skill or re-skill for the workplace.

The device is a lightweight, under 400 grams, product which offers high-quality graphics and full-colour passthrough.

AjnaLens proudly announced that its MR headset runs at a 5K resolution, 2280 x 2280 pixels per eye, with an additional 1512 PPI (Pixel Per Inch) and 24 PPD (Pixel Per Degree) integration.

Moreover, the device considers various user eye types, including space for prescription glasses, diopter lenses, and IPD adjustment.

Additionally, the AjnaXR device runs on a Qualcomm XR2 processor, a key component behind many XR headsets.

AjnaXR does not require individual sign-ins, which means that the AjnaXR device keeps a user’s or business’ data secure and private. The feature also increases accessibility and improves employee onboarding sessions.

AjnaLens is also selling its MR device as an enterprise edition to accommodate workplace environments.

The enterprise edition contains eye and hand-tracking technology to allow user navigation without physical controllers. In an enterprise scenario, eye and hand-tracking enable workers to interact with MR elements while multitasking with a real-world procedure.

AjnaXR comes with various powerful features and specifications. Some of the device’s features include a pancake lens, 95 – 108 FOV, inside-out tracking, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, and OpenXR support.

CES 2023: What is AjnaLens’ AjnaVidya?

To match the launch of AjnaXR in 2023, the firm is also debuting AjnaVidya, an accompanying platform to promote immersive learning and communication opportunities.

The firm designed its “all-inclusive XR ecosystem” to nurture application and talent pool growth on the AjnaXR device.

AjnaVidya enables its participants to upload custom immersive learning content onto a unified platform for others to access.

The service allows users to track performance stats with others using immersive training courses covering automotive, healthcare, mining, airport maintenance, mindfulness and metaverse content creation.

Moreover, AjnaVidya allows VR/MR content developers to distribute applications without a fee on the XR ecosystem for other AjnaXR operators to enjoy.

Abhijit Patil, Co-founder & COO, AjnaLens, added:

We are thrilled to launch India’s first True Mixed Reality Glasses and world’s first complete immersive learning ecosystem at a global event, CES 2023. We envisioned representing India and showcasing the talent we have in India. With AjnaVidya and AjnaXR, we aim to provide an immersive learning experience with real-life tools to the trainee and help them get placed at a highly competitive pay scale globally.

The firm allows individuals to pre-order the base consumer AjnaXR model via its official website.
