This month, Start Beyond partnered with US enterprise-grade VR training platform provider Strivr to revolutionize immersive learning for APAC end users. Start Beyond partnered with Strivr via its Partner Program, which aims to find immersive industry expert firms to accelerate the effectiveness and adoption of VR training.

Start Beyond is working with Strivr to bring its immersive storytelling and content creation to enhance training opportunities for the latter’s SDK and distribution platform.

Start Beyond has experience designing story-led immersive experiences for clients such as Qantas, Westpac, and St John Ambulance Victoria.

With its experience, Start Beyond will give Strivr clients immersive experiential learning applications to improve training outcomes.

Angus Stevens, Co-founder and CEO of Start Beyond noted that AR and VR training simulations are “far more effective than conventional learning.”

The CEO also remarked that it’s “no surprise that leading national companies are now implementing this technology as their preferred training method.”

Stevens added:

We are thrilled to be partnering with such a respected and prominent player in the global VR industry. With our combined delivery of nearly 1 million VR and AR experiences, we are excited to join forces with Strivr and create impactful immersive educational solutions that will support and benefit Australian businesses in the future of workplace training.

By partnering with Strivr, Start Beyond can provide enterprise clients with reduced onboarding times, increase staff speed to proficiency, and cut training costs – ultimately optimizing workforce performance, notes Stevens.

Additionally, Stevens explained that the partnership builds upon the experience of both companies “to make the new frontier in workplace training” for Australian industry clients.

Strivr and Fortune 1000 Firms

Strivr’s VR training SDK is also a standard tool across Fortune 1000 companies as a service for developing training software to meet demands from an extensive range of enterprise verticals.

In an exclusive chat with XR Today, Aneesh Kulkarni, the CTO of Strivr, explained how firms building content ecosystems enable the advancement of XR’s adoption.

Kullkarbi remarked:

Think about the mobile industry and how it’s evolved. Advancement in the adoption of VR, MR and XR in general as a technology is going to take an ecosystem of leaders that understand the space. The technology benefits [and boosts the] importance of issues like privacy and security.

With the firm’s extensive product portfolio and client list, Strivr is becoming a prominent VR training provider. Moreover, last year, Strivr partnered with the XR Association to continue expanding the adoption of enterprise-grade XR.
