The XR Awards are back and ready to highlight leading immersive companies in various markets after a successful inaugural event last year.

XR Today highlights cutting-edge augmented, virtual, and mixed reality (AR/VR/MR) solutions, products, and firms during the XR Awards showcase. International businesses should enter as soon as possible to gain recognition at the XR Awards 2023 online showcase.

The XR Awards 2023 is harnessing the talents of an esteemed list of judges representing many sectors of the AR/VR/MR industry. The judges will help to pick the finalists and winners of the XR Awards 2023 in many categories, such as Most Innovative Product, Best Manufacturing & Industrial Solution, and Best Immersive Collaboration Solution.

XR Today’s chosen judges for the XR Awards 2023 include:

Amy Lameyer

Amy LaMeyer is the Managing Partner of the WXR Fund, a venture capital fund that invests in start-ups reshaping business and human interaction through spatial computing and artificial intelligence. Female founders and inclusive team make up the entire WXR portfolio.

LaMeyer has participated in several podcasts about the potential of spatial computing, virtual music experiences, and frequently speaks about immersive music trends.

Amy Peck

Amy Peck is the Founder & CEO of EndeavorXR, a leading global VR/AR/MR strategy and consulting firm.

Peck speaks internationally about the future of XR and immersive technologies. Working on XR strategy, content, development, product, and GTM for Fortune 500 companies, digital media/production companies, and tech start-ups.

Sophia Moshasha

Sophia Moshasha, the VP of the VR/AR Association’s DC Chapter, is also joining the 2023 XR Awards’ list of judges.

Through her leadership at the VR/AR Association, as well as appearances on networks such as Forbes, ABC, and CGTN, Sophia influences global networks as an evangelist for the advancement of immersive solutions to create a significant impact in business and everyday life.

Dr Faisal Mushtaq

The Associate Director of the Centre for Immersive Technologies, Dr Faisal Mushtaq, works between a leading XR research centre while holding a position as an Associate Professor in Psychology at the University of Leeds.

Dr Faisal Mushtaq writes about using XR to improve human learning and performance, publishing his finding in several high-impact journals. Also, his team was the first to show that young children exposed to VR may suffer from cognitive and visual impairments.

Amelia Kallman

Amelia Kallman is a prominent London Futurist, Speaker, and Author named one of the “Top 25 Women in the Metaverse.”

Kallman focuses on the opportunities and threats presented by XR, AI, data, and Web3.

Moreover, Kallman’s clients include Unilever, Red Bull, Together Labs, Lloyd’s of London, and the UK Parliament.

Tom Ffiske

Tom Ffiske writes about immersive technologies at the Immersive Wire, a newsletter and website covering all things VR, AR, MR, and the metaverse.

Since 2016, Tom has written about the industry, covering the most recent investments, trends, and innovations across enterprise and consumer markets.

Yanna Zhu

Yanna Zhu is a Metaverse & XR Specialist at BCG.

Zhu also worked in PWC’s Metaverse Technologies team before her current position, assisting clients worldwide and from all sectors in discovering, creating, and implementing immersive solutions.

Zhu has also conducted numerous sessions to help clients employ XR technology, including smartphone-based solutions and high-end headsets.

Jay Latta

Jay Latta is an Emerging Technology Strategist with over 35 years of experience and presence in the industry and on stage.

His ThinkTank STINT is focused on humanitarian purposes, scientific research and advanced ideas which benefit humankind.

How to Apply for the XR Awards 2023

The XR Awards 2023 calls for applications on February 17, 2023.

In addition, submissions for the XR Awards must be received by March 31.

The finalists will be announced by XR Today on May 5, 2023, in time for the online ceremony on May 25.
