XREAL’s highly anticipated XREAL One Pro glasses debuted at CES 2025, showcasing their cutting-edge AR technology. At an event that was dominated by AI software, XREAL was a real highlight in the wearable hardware space.

The stylish specs represent a quantum leap forward in consumer-oriented augmented reality, and have a sleek, wearable design. In fact, they could quite easily pass for a pair of Ray-Bans – more practical and way cooler than an old VR headset!

The XREAL series’ brains lie in the X1 chip, which keeps virtual screens locked in place while you move around. The star feature of the pro model is its innovative flat-prism lens design, which delivers an industry-leading 57-degree view through an 11mm profile. Additionally, the glasses come in two sizes, and have adjustable eye spacing ranges and software fine-tuning for the perfect fit.

For the content creators, there’s the snap-on XREAL Eye camera for first-person shooting, with AI features coming soon. Meanwhile, sound quality gets the Bose fine-tuning, while your eyes get the royal treatment too – with 700 nits of brightness and a full suite of certifications, including the first-ever 5-Star Eye Comfort rating.

These glasses are built for both style and stamina, ready for everything from quick video sessions to all-day wear.

Out-of-this-World Tech. Real-World Applications

Some of their competitors and predecessors have struggled, but XREAL glasses are getting it right with this cool, comfy, and affordable AR upgrade we’ve all been waiting for. They ditch the clunky headset vibe for a sleek, sunglasses-inspired look, pack serious tech for gaming, productivity, and more, and even come with Bose-tuned sound.

XREAL demoed plenty of real-world applications through a range of hands-on experiences.

For instance, attendees could:

  • Relax in a new BMW X3 M50 to explore the possibilities of in-car entertainment through the XREAL One Series’ spatial computing capabilities.
  • Experience a live holographic video call featuring interactive avatar streaming from T-Mobile and Mawari.
  • Enjoy virtual big screen gaming with Logitech G CLOUD and others.

There are big implications for businesses too, particularly those that employ work-from-home or hybrid models. For example, the XREAL series would allow employees in cramped spaces – such as a busy train, coffeeshop or even their kitchen counter – to a multi-screen set-up. But without any screens! With the 57-degree field of view on the One Pro, you get true peripheral vision across your virtual displays, making it feel more like a natural desktop setup.

Additionally, video conferencing could be enhanced, allowing participants to move around while staying in frame – no need to be tethered to your laptop whilst having your morning catch-up any more!

XREAL One is restocked on Amazon and XREAL.com now. XREAL One Pro is available for pre-orders now for $599 USD, £549 GBP, €649 Euro through XREAL.com.
