Recently, Sightful released another update regarding its emerging productivity AR laptop product: the launch of Spacetop for Windows, marking a strategic shift to a software-only model for Windows to match the growth of AI PCs.
Following Sightful’s initial focus on developing proprietary AR hardware, the company turned to also support the emerging AI PC marketplace. Spacetop for Windows leverages augmented reality functionalities such as a 100″+ virtual canvas.
Tamir Berliner, CEO and co-founder of Sightful, added:
Spacetop is exactly why AI PCs were designed – it unlocks the true power of the architecture. For four years while we developed Spacetop, the number one request from users and businesses was ‘When is it coming to Windows?’ Today is that day. The rise of AI laptops not only accelerated our mission to use software to reach scale but unlocked huge new possibilities for what an AR workspace can do when combined with the power of AI.
Since April 24th, 2025, the Spacetop Bundle, including XREAL Air Ultra 2 AR glasses and a 12-month Spacetop subscription, will be available for order at $899.
Real Benefits in Businesses Today
Sighfult notes how Spacetop for Windows contains various software benefits for enterprise clients, including allowing on-the-go workers to leverage an AR multi-monitor workstation, work in privacy with safeguarding for sensitive information, and XREAL hardware features.
Berliner also added:
Demand for Spacetop has never been limited by geography. Now that the hardware ecosystem has matured, we’re thrilled to meet that global demand through trusted international partners.
Alongside the support for XREAL smart glasses, Spacetop for Windows is also optimised for modern AI laptops with robust spatial computing capabilities, including Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, and Microsoft models.
To prove the solutions’ worth in enterprise settings, Spacetop entered a strategic partnership with Deutsche Telekom, SHI International Corp, and Intel, with Dr. Maximilian Ahrens, Senior Vice President, T Digital of Deutsche Telekom, adding:
Sightful’s Spacetop redefines mobile productivity with a virtual 100” workspace—empowering our B2B customers with secure, flexible, and digitised solutions for the future of work.
Moreover, Amy Troxell, Director of End-User Device Overlay Partners at SHI International, explained that the firm is “thrilled to partner with Spacetop in launching their cutting-edge AR solution, seamlessly integrating with 2 of our largest tech partners, Microsoft and Intel, in revolutionizing the user experience in the PC world.”
“The reactions within SHI, our partners, and customers have had while experiencing Spacetop is astounding, there’s just nothing like it,” Troxell remarked.
The move marks a coverage point between XR and AI, which other market leaders like Google keenly note as a crucial element driving the future of AR/VR/MR solutions forward.
