Recently, Get Your Way, a start-up focusing on developing and distributing in-the-field assistive reality solutions, announced the completion of a successful funding round. The round brought roughly €850,000 to the emerging XR, helping the fledging company boost its immersive service for users in a range of sectors such as healthcare, aerospace, and industrial environments.
The firm gained its most recent round of capital with assistance from Industrya, Noshaq, and a private investor.
According to Get Your Way, the secured capital will help the firm fully launch aRdent, an immersive workplace solution, and start the company’s broader market expansion goals.
Moreover, the funding allows Get Your Way to scale its expansion towards end-users in various sectors such as healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
Aude Somja, an Investment Manager at Noshaq, added:
The solution proposed by Get Your Way addresses a growing need for digitalization in companies. Its strength lies in remaining easy to use and seamlessly integrating into the existing environment. It adapts to the demands of complex fields such as the pharmaceutical and aerospace industries. We believe in this lite-tech approach where technology aligns with the real needs of users.
More on Get Your Way
Company co-founders Nicolas Dessambre, Antoine Malherbe, and Pierre Jenchenne are leveraging their university-based research to create an innovative XR solution for the workplace.
Get Your Way is looking to boost aRdent and its related software solutions to new sectors with help from the funding round, “we will start by targeting hospitals and pharmaceutical companies, where we have already received very positive feedback,” noted Nicolas Dessambre.
The trio is developing a solution that leverages Bluetooth-connected immersive displays to display information directly in the eyesight of an on-site professional while they are completing a task.
The firm is working to create parallel hardware and software solutions that allow users to view valuable information as AR visualisation, hands-free while multitasking with the operation at hand.
Antoine Malherbe also added:
We want to double our workforce. These new recruits will play a crucial role in the integration and development of the solutions for our clients.
With the funding, Get Your Way is also looking to boost its presence in new sectors, such as aerospace and industrial clients. Firms such as Vuzix and Realwear are already deep in providing AR-based workplace tools; Get Your Way will need to push forward with a drive and fresh vision to change AR usage in the workplace with its aRdent service.
Pierre Jenchenne said that the goal is to “quickly measure” the impact of its company initiatives in order to “consider a broader deployment.”
