This week, AR and MR enterprise solutions provider Arvizio introduced Taimoor Nawab as its new CEO in an effort to scale the firm’s marketplace opportunity. The move aims to boost Arvizio’s ability to deliver AI-ready AR/MR hardware for enterprise situations such as training, productivity, and operational efficiency.
The new CEO, Taimoor Nawab said:
I’m thrilled to be part of such an outstanding team and innovative product offering. Arvizio solutions transform how we engage with tools, processes, systems, and technology. By integrating AR and AI, Arvizio enables users and enterprises to scale and train efficiently while reducing long-term operational costs and boosting productivity. I’m excited to lead the next phase of Arvizio’s growth.
Nawab is lending his experience following a role at Syntronic R&D Canada as its SVP & Head. He brings knowledge of growing businesses and providing complex product solutions to a broad clientele. Based on the newly appointed CEO, the firm plans to accelerate the distribution of its enterprise-grade XR devices.
The current President and COO of Arvizio, Alex Berlin, explained that Taimoor’s “broad background in engineering and business leadership, coupled with his proven track record of driving growth, makes him an invaluable addition to Arvizio.”
Alex Berlin also added:
We are confident that under his leadership, Arvizio will continue to innovate and expand our solutions to meet the evolving needs of our enterprise customers.
The appointment will also enable Arvizio to refine its distribution of XR products to clients with advanced feature sets and product suitability for enterprises. The firm stated that its product is set to “revolutionize” enterprise with innovative realty tools.
What is Arvizio’s AR Instructor?
In June 2022, Arvizio embarked on a significant scaling journey for its flagship product, “AR Instructor,” a goal which appears to be escalating due to the change in CEO and a fresh push for product acceleration.
To kick off its 2022 scaling journey, Arvizio added support for Apple and Android smartphones and tablets. Additionally, in July 2022, Arvizio launched AR Instructor Version 2.0, introducing new features such as animated digital twins, content caching, and enhanced workflow management tools.
AR Instructor V2 offers improved workflow mechanisms that enable remote employees to manage immersive documentation files from the drafting stage to publication, including administrative tools. Version 2.0 also includes technical considerations for third-party documentation, allowing workers to copy, share, and utilize additional resources across various devices.
In addition to AR Instructor V2, Arvizio provides the Immerse 3D platform as part of its XR technology offerings. Immerse 3D uses 3D models and content for design reviews, and employees can stream and edit complex computer-assisted designs (CAD), including Revit or Navisworks file types.
Last year, Arvizio announced support for Meta Quest 3 headsets, making its enterprise-grade AR Instructor application available on the MR headset. This integration brings a powerful frontline tool to the Meta Quest 3, enabling end-users to leverage AI-powered immersive training and operational experience visualizations.
Furthermore, Arvizio emphasizes that the AR Instructor/Quest 3 integration supports various use cases, including upskilling, onboarding, maintenance, repair, and field service.
