DigitalBridge recently announced on Friday last week it had rebranded as Fixtuur as it unveils its Visual Commerce platform designed for eCommerce and retail businesses.
The Manchester-based firm’s latest solution superimposes static product images in home environments via augmented reality (AR) technologies.
Word is out! We are thrilled to announce that we have rebranded as Fixtuur.

The new app, available on the company’s website, will provide immersive features before buying their latest products, allowing them to explore and plan home interior projects with greater ease of use.
Shoppers can explore bespoke decorating options, including hardware, colours, materials, and spacial configurations, among others in a novel AR experience prior to purchasing physical goods.
The platform’s Visual Commerce platform integrates new features directly on retailer and brand web pages, including:
- Product Configuration: online shoppers can explore products with real-time 3D (RT3D) content and adjust colour, material, size, and superimpose final creations in home environments with AR.
- Space Design: Customers can redesign their rooms and outdoor spaces by visualising the final configuration with AR technologies
Comments on Fixtuur’s Upgrades
Company Chief Executive David Thomson said in a statement,
“We’re immensely proud to be taking to market our platform that elevates the consumer’s shopping experience beyond the high expectations of shoppers today. With Fixtuur, our clients are able to educate, inspire and give their customers the confidence to buy through Visual Commerce”
Speaking on the company’s rebranding, James Lewis, Fixtuur’s Chief Operating Officer, added his business “needed updating to reflect who we are today” following a period of significant growth.
He continued, stating,
“Fixtuur’s new look and feel encapsulates our company culture and links to how our software helps retailers, brands and consumers”
Designer Ashley Fenlon explained how the firm’s new logo showed it was “agile and in motion” and aimed to help clients “transform and deliver enhanced customer experiences”.
She concluded it “nods to how our client’s customers use Fixtuur in the creative process of planning rooms and fitting shapes together to build the bigger picture.”

Moda Furnishings, one of Fixtuur’s growing list of clients, said it had “already seen high levels of engagement” after launching the solution on its website, adding the company was “excited” to expand across its full product range.”
The developments come just days after rival firm Avataar appointed Daniel Frith as Vice-President of 3D to boost the company’s portfolio of AR solutions for retailers.
The ex-IKEA lead for 3D AR strategy launched his former company’s AR platform in 2017 on Google ARCore, providing customers with spatial visualisation tools to refurbish and develop their future spaces.
