Recently, South Korean LiDAR sensor innovators SolidVue announced a strategic collaboration with the US-based firm Lumotive to combine technologies from both companies and help drive the next evolution of LiDAR scanning systems.

The partnership merges SolidVue’s advanced dTOF SPAD array receiver technology with Lumotive’s innovative Light Control Metasurface beamforming chip. This combination results in a system that delivers high resolution, precision, and efficiency performance for LiDAR modules, targeting a wide range of industries.
