Industrial Immersive 2025 is where extended reality meets industrial innovation. 9. NVIDIA GTC 2025

NVIDIA has been making waves in the XR landscape for some time now, so we expect the company’s annual GTC event in 2025 to be spectacular. 11. AI & Metaverse Innovate Summit 2025

Dates: April 17-18, 2025
Struggling to find time to travel in the new year? No problem, the AI & Metaverse Innovate Summit is one of the top virtual XR events, with no need for a commute. Already, this event is set to be a real experience to remember, with some of the best keynote speakers and session leaders we’ve seen.

London Tech Week is something we always look forward to here at XR Today. One of the most influential tech and XR Events in the UK, this conference always attracts some of the top innovators from around the world, including the likes of IBM and Unilever.
Just like most of the events mentioned here, you’ll find plenty of speaker sessions and panels to explore here. This year’s event will be spotlighting some major technology trends, from AI and robotics, to XR and the metaverse, and even sustainable tech.

13. AWE USA 2025

Often considered one of the biggest XR events for those interested in augmented and mixed reality, AWE USA will return to Long Beach in 2025, for another incredible immersive showcase. Ready for a fresh look at the future of AI? If you can find the time (and the travel budget), we recommend heading to the XR & Metaverse Fair in Tokyo. Though there’s a lot about this upcoming event still to be revealed, it’s always a great conference for anyone interested in immersive tech.
Attendees can expect to meet with pioneers and thought leaders from around the globe and learn from the experts with incredible keynote sessions and panels. If you want to take a hands-on approach to trying new tech, the interactive exhibits are great for getting an insight into how extended reality is influencing everything from education to retail.
We can expect plenty of discussions about the future of wearables, metaverse creation tools, and software applications here. It’s sure to be a fantastic experience for lovers of all things XR.
15. SIGGRAPH 2025
Location: Vancouver, Canada
Dates: August 10-14, 2025
SIGGRAPH 2025 is the world’s premier event for interactive technologies, computer graphics, and cutting-edge industry developments. Here, you won’t just get an insight into the latest XR developments. You can experiment with animation software, visual effects, AI and more.
Attendees can experience cutting-edge tools and systems through live demonstrations, hands-on labs, and emerging technology showcases. From immersive storytelling to next-gen virtual production, SIGGRAPH sets the stage for how XR is redefining industries.

16. Augmented Enterprise Summit 2025
Location: Dallas, Texas, USA
Dates: September 23-25, 2025
From digital twins, to XR, and AI, the Augmented Enterprise Summit has it all. Attracting thousands of attendees from across the globe, this leading XR Event is one of the best places to get a behind-the-scenes look at the latest hardware innovations and software systems.
You’ll be able to discover new ways to build digital twins and leverage artificial intelligence, IoT, and metaverse technologies in day-to-day workflows. The expo floor is also home to plenty of extended reality headsets to try out, haptic gloves and other accessories.
The agenda for this event is still being figured out, but we can expect plenty of great sessions covering all kinds of industries, from automotive, to engineering. There will even be a specific focus on virtual collaboration and meeting experiences.
17. Meta Connect 2025
Location: TBA
Dates: September 2025
Meta Connect 2025 has yet to be officially announced, but based on previous events, we can expect it to take place sometime around September 2025. This is one of the most impactful XR events to look forward to all year. In 2024, Meta Connect introduced us to Meta’s Orion prototype glasses, updates to Ray-Ban smart specs, and the Meta Quest 3S.
In 2025, we’re predicting that we’ll see plenty of keynote speeches about Meta’s latest AI innovations and the Quest lineup. We might even hear something about an upcoming Quest 4, or a new set of AR glasses based on the Orion system we saw in 2024.
No matter what Meta reveals this year, Connect is an event that no true XR enthusiast can afford to miss. Connect always generates plenty of industry excitement with world-changing speeches, demonstrations, and panels.
18. Microsoft Ignite 2025
Location: TBA
Dates: November 2025
Similar to Meta Connect, the dates for Microsoft Ignite generally aren’t revealed until later in the year. Usually, though, this event takes place around November, just before the holiday season. Although Microsoft might not be as fully invested in XR as some of its competitors, it has revealed some interesting products and solutions in recent years.
At Ignite 2024, for instance, we saw some significant updates to Microsoft Mesh, innovations in the AI development landscape, and updates to the Microsoft cloud infrastructure. Plus, the company also revealed an extended partnership with Meta, allowing it to bring the Windows ecosystem straight to Meta Quest headsets.
Who knows what Ignite 2025 might bring? Microsoft might reveal that it’s working on a new extended reality headset to replace the discontinued HoloLens 2, or a new software solution similar to Windows Mixed Reality.
