The highlight of my business/work experience in 2024 has been learning how to make AI models. This has significantly expanded my technical skills in machine learning and data processing. Applying these skills to real-world problems has been rewarding, improving efficiency and decision-making in various projects. The interdisciplinary nature of AI has enriched my understanding, and collaborating with experts has broadened my professional network. Staying ahead of AI trends has given me a competitive edge, fostering innovation and creativity. This accomplishment has also brought recognition and new leadership opportunities, marking a period of significant growth and success.

As a fan of Elon Musk, I’m inspired by his relentless drive for innovation. Through Tesla and SpaceX, he’s transformed industries and sparked a wave of enthusiasm for the future. Musk’s bold vision, willingness to take risks, and commitment to sustainability make him a true hero in my eyes.

The biggest business mistake I’ve made was prioritising advanced Virtual Reality (VR) technology over understanding user needs. This resulted in a VR application that, while technologically impressive, didn’t address real user problems or preferences, leading to low engagement and adoption. Users found the interface cumbersome and the features impractical for their needs. Significant resources were spent on cutting-edge capabilities that users didn’t value, and we missed out on crucial feedback that could have guided better design choices. Moving forward, it’s essential to balance technological advancements with a deep understanding of user needs to create VR applications that are both innovative and user-friendly, driving better engagement and business success.

I’ve read many excellent books, making it hard to choose just one favourite. However, as a fan of fiction and fantasy, I can say that “The Silmarillion” has greatly inspired my work. The book beautifully illustrates the wonders of Middle-Earth, filled with dreamlike elements that spark my imagination and inspire me to create other worlds.

Ensuring seamless integration, addressing ethical and privacy concerns, and achieving user adoption are also critical hurdles. Despite these challenges, the potential for creating innovative and immersive experiences makes this pursuit highly rewarding.
