What has been your business/work highlight of 2024 so far?

Launching our first headset optimized for work productivity later this year.

Who is your business hero and why?

Brian Chesky. He’s a non technical (like myself) entrepreneur and founder of a now a major tech company, Airbnb.

What’s the biggest business mistake you’ve made and what did you learn from it?

Implementing a roadmap for a feature that was not yet consumer ready. A lot of time effort and energy went into the project and we ultimately ended up scrapping it. We learned that it was worth a shot but we should have waited for the underlying utilitarian use case for it was proven out further.

What’s the most inspirational book you’ve ever read and why?

Tale of Three Kings. It teaches the story of brokenness and leadership through three ancient middle eastern kings of their time.

What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role in 2024?

Equipping our team for the appropriate growth that we anticipate having later on.

What technology will have the greatest impact on your business this year and why?

We’re working on our hardware, Visor. So hopefully that!
