On Wednesday, smart glasses vendor Iristick announced a distribution agreement with Capestone, a European technology vendor with a rich portfolio of Internet of Everything (IoT) solutions.
The partnership enables Iristick to distribute its enterprise-grade smart glasses to European sectors for firms and individuals. For Capestone, the collaboration will expand the group’s technology portfolio by adding Iristick’s diverse line-up of augmented reality (AR) smart glasses.

Jos Ouwerkerk, the CEO of Capestone added,

The news comes as Capestone invests in related AR technologies such as 4G, 5G, and ATEX solutions. Its partnership with Iristick aims to increase its presence in the AR market and provide wireless solutions such as live streaming, hands-free remote assistance, guidance, and digital workflow services.

The firm’s portfolio includes:
- Iristick G2, a pair of lightweight smart glasses that connect to an external computing box for peer-to-peer collaboration.
- Iristick G2 Pro, which adds an enhanced barcode scanner, touch, and voice controls that give users more power over navigation and information sharing.
- H1, a device to improve hands-free communication in industrial worksites, where users can attach the device to any custom personal protection equipment.
- Visor-EX 01, a collaborative effort with ECOM Instruments, for working with hazardous industrial environments.
Iristick also supplies various accessories to enhance products for individual or frontline use. The firm sells custom straps and hardhats for safe industrial applications and has options ready to improve accessibility with frames that supports users who need prescription glasses.
