This week, Ontario-based Arvizio developers of enterprise-grade augmented and mixed reality (AR/MR) solutions announced ‘Arvizio Instructor’ an AR and digital twin system that provides remote guidance for those involved in complex task-oriented workflows.

The platform incorporates 3D models, videos, images, documents, and annotations to introduce the next generation of remote guidance to the firm’s global enterprise partners.

The Instructor platform integrates powerful 3D visualisations to give onsite workers the tools required to improve their workplace performance via immersive training or remote guidance.

To achieve this, Arvizio Instructor contains three key applications including:

  • Instructor AR App: This is the core remote guidance application from Arvizio that enterprises can use on AR/MR headsets such as the Microsoft Hololens 2
  • Arvizio Instructor Authoring App: The PC-based content creation applications enables enterprises to create personalised guidance and training systems
  • Remote Expert App: An additional PC-based programme enables enterprises to track and assist scattered remote or field workers

Arvizio’s new solution can facilitate various busy work environments such as datacenters, telecom environments, and manufacturing plants.

The practical solution can suit various use cases for workforces including operational, maintenance, and repair procedures. Additionally, Arvizio Instructor incorporates AR and digital twins to provide immersive remote training scenarios.

Additionally, Arvizio Instructor provides frontline workers with real-time 3D step-by-step guides to help instruct individuals across a site. The Canadian firm states that the new solution can improve productivity, safety, and efficiency while decreasing costs.

Notable features of Arvizio Instructor include:

  • Step-by step remote guidance, enhanced with real-time 3D AR renders
  • Interactive guidance with highly-detailed 3D digital twins of worksites
  • Real-world mapping by using QR codes
  • Personalised workflows and data tracking that employees can seamlessly shared themselves
  • Video and remote mark-ups, that enable workers to look through the point of view of another onsite worker

More on Arvizio

In addition to it’s new solution, Arvizio is know for Immerse 3D a creative suite of AR/MR tools that help with the optimisation and sharing of complex enterprise-grade 3D models.

The Immerse platform works on a variety of mobile devices and AR/MR headsets such as the Hololens 2 and Magic Leap 2.

On top of this, developers can share, test, and interact with their Immerse-based 3D models while using a third-party remote meeting solution like Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Meaning that, enterprise design teams can remotely conduct planning and review sessions that seamlessly incorporates BIM, CAD, as well as other 3D model formats.

Arvizio is bringing AR/MR innovation to industry 4.0 with its powerful selection of digital transformation solutions that help frontline workers monitor and navigate industrial environments.

News comes after, Arivizio partnered with Sight Power earlier this year to deliver AR-enhanced digital twins to the mining sector for 3D data visualisation.
